Real Mommies Get It

The Diet Plan

So, I’ve got some weight to lose, and I need a plan.

I’m working with some severe handicaps.

  • It’s too hot to take a baby outside.
  • It will still be too hot in three months.
  • My gym isn’t built yet.
  • I have no time.
  • Technically, I don’t have permission to exercise yet. (But this is the least of my worries.)

So, what’s a flabby mom to do?

My plan is simple:

I will eat relatively healthy food as often as required to get through the day, and I will exercise as much as a toddler and newborn will let me.

What this means is I will wolf down whatever I can get my hands on while propping a bottle under my chin and trying to catch the sippy of milk before it falls on the ground. Exercise will be nonexistent.

I’m off to a rousing good start!

It’s a good thing my body is still managing to lose weight without my help.

I’ll try to get to the mall tomorrow to walk (with two boys in tow) and see if I can brainstorm a terrific strategy then. Wish me luck!
