A Flabby Mom Check In
I told you I’d keep everyone posted on my weight loss, so here is an update.
I haven’t lost a ton of weight just yet, but I am getting there sloooooowly.
-I’ve quit eating sugar and done surprisingly well keeping it up. Yea me!
-I’ve hopped on the treadmill a few times, but can’t seem to get in a good pattern. Now work has piled up, so that is taking up my evenings.
-I’ve taken the boys on a walk where Brian proceeded to wait until we were at the farthest point from the house and fill up his diaper. Of course I didn’t have a clean one.
-I’ve started shopping for a double stroller. I was going to go without one, but I’m realizing how much simpler it would be to have one for walks or shopping trips. That and the cooler weather we might someday have should help.
-I’m starting a food journal today. This should help me stay on top of calories and foods I’m shoving in my mouth in the name of energy and sanity. So far I’m at 1230 and it’s only 1:45. I think I’ve made a major discovery!
All of this has combined to lose me another three pounds. Hey, I said it was slow!
Exercise is what is going to really make the difference once my calories are under better control. I’ve decided to push work off until the evenings and use naptime for the treadmill. That way my feet won’t be so tired, and I won’t have to get worked up about sweating when all I want to do is sit down and quit trying to suck in my belly at the end of every day.
